Last year, an estimated 58 million are deprived worldwide of their fundamental right to primary education.
The majority have no access to quality primary education due to the tremendous obstacles they face including extreme poverty, living in areas affected by armed conflict, limited resources, poor infrastructure, natural disasters, or other factors that make education out of reach. They face increasing vulnerabilities as young girls, children with disabilities, refugees, or as members of religious, ethnic or linguistic minorities.
If it wasn't for education i couldn't have written this page, on a laptop, in English, from out my comfortable home.
Because investment in education leads our children to a better future, let's help those who don't currently have the means for proper education.

"Through education we can change the world, one kid at a time"
- Pharrell Williams
The Cunina organization ( cunina means goddess of the cradle) is convinced that education is the key to a better future.
Those who can get an education, can learn a profession. It means as much as a way out of the vicious circle of poverty. To Cunina, not only access to education is important, but its quality as well. Education is necessary for individual and social development and leads to sustainable development.
Through Personal Sponsorship, you can help individual children and become a godparent!
With a monthly sponsorship contribution of 30 Euros, you give a child the prospect of a training and a brighter future.
Every child has the right to education. Yet there are still 77 million children worldwide who do not attend school. These children really need Cunina. Because by good education, they have more opportunities in life, and it's much easier to get out of poverty.
To be able to help as many children as possible, we need your help. If you become a godparent, your own godchild can go to school.
But you don't have to be a godparent to help us. You can also support one of our projects through a free contribution. Whatever you do, thank you very much.
Explaining why receiving a quality education is so important; i.e. it's vital that all children are in school, but we need to make sure that they are actually learning. An estimated 250 million children are currently not learning the basics whether they have been to school or not. But importantly, what is quality education and how can we deliver it; so how can we improve the quality of learning globally?
